Meet Coach G

UWA Hall of Famer. Elite Athlete Developer.

Coach G (Gerald Worsham) is the founder of A.I.E. Sports Training (Attitude Is Everything), a football performance training program dedicated to developing elite athletes through skill development, discipline, and a commitment to excellence.

Before becoming a coach, Coach G built a legacy as one of the greatest wide receivers in University of West Alabama history. A UWA Hall of Fame inductee, he led the Tigers in receiving all four seasons of his collegiate career and averaged 60 receptions per season. He finished as the program's all-time leader in career receptions (241), career receiving yards (3,053), and career receiving touchdowns (25) — the only player in West Alabama history to record more than 3,000 career receiving yards — and still holds the school's single-season receiving yards record with 1,201 yards in 2010. His accomplishments earned him All-Gulf South Conference and All-South Region honors before he continued his football career professionally.

After his playing career, Coach G turned his passion for football into a mission of developing the next generation of athletes. For more than seven years, he has trained athletes of all ages — improving their speed, agility, explosiveness, route running, footwork, and overall football IQ.

Through A.I.E. Sports Training, Coach G combines his experience as a player with his knowledge as a coach to teach athletes what it takes to compete at a higher level. His training philosophy goes beyond drills — he focuses on building confidence, discipline, consistency, and the mindset needed to succeed on and off the field.

Attitude Is Everything. Coach G's goal is to help every athlete unlock their potential, develop elite habits, and become the best version of themselves.
